Although we had a good mortgage at the time when we got it a few years back, we KNEW that with rates at record lows there MUST be something we could do to save. After 2 years of getting the run around and our bank telling us we should stick with what we have within 2 weeks of contacting you we are now debt free and savings $418.97 a month, which is a lot of money for us and will help us save money instead of having to run up a credit line when something is needed.
We can already tell the experience you have set for us is completely different than the bank, the first is simply how you are compensated (which in nothing from us you get paid the same regardless of where you place our mortgage) and what your interest is, which is for me; the client and not making a bank record profits.

Me and my wife would like to thank you so much for your professional service in obtaining our new mortgage with today’s lower rates from the existing mortgage that we had at 4.9% which at the time we got ourselves we thought was a good rate.
The mortgage restructuring plan that you set up for us having a low fixed rate where we are paying $22,000.00 more towards the Principal rather than towards the interest in only 3 short years, after increasing our mortgage to include the penalty and combining some outside debts with savings of more than $600.00 per month. Our existing lender told us “this was not possible”. You have allowed us to have more savings (which is helpful with 3 children) and help us upgrade our home much faster. Your detailed explanation was very clear from beginning to end.
We are still overwhelmed and thankfull for all the work you and your team have done for us, you obviously worked for us to get the best plan and we look forward to the years to come knowing we have you and your team on our side. I have dealt with 3 mortgage brokers in my time, and by far, Angela was the most forthcoming. She fully explained all of the options available to us, taking our needs into consideration. I have been watching the rates online for a few months now, and the rate Angela was able to secure for us, was better than I expected, considering how low the rates already are. Thank you to your team for being so helpful in all this. Your service, promptness, and support in all of this has been excellent. These days, it seems many organizations are just not all that interested in helping people get what they need. We were with my bank for sixteen years, they have earned a great deal of money from us between mortgages and lines of credit, and yet, they did not seem all that interested in finding a way to help us.
I was complaining about the service at my bank to JoAnne and she suggested I call you because when she had dealt with you, she said it was all so easy. The lack of service I received at that bank over the past couple of years was becoming quite annoying and that's why I made the initial call to you and told you what we needed the financing for to ensure you had all the information you needed. Your group Angela is truly a refreshing change to some of the past occupants of this profession. While in many ways some may say they paved the way, I somewhat dispute that and say innovative customer centric thinkers like yourself re-created that segment of the industry. Kind of like going from sausage to Prime rib. I guess since today I came in pretty early I am hungry so my analogy had to be food related. J I have worked with Mortgage Originators for many years, first a lender for quite a long time then of course on the fulfillment side at FNF. This now moving towards ten years. The below arm is a division of FNF that I have been asked to head up. Never before in the industry have the incentive to use your services been more attractive. Our friend at the bricks and mortar have long lived on the belief that folks had to walk in to get what they want, they had to deal with the “old boys club” to build the financial strength to support their families and that the B&M always know what’s best. Don’t get me wrong banks are terrific at their core strengths I just feel that those core strengths are becoming very watered down in the new world. I find that there are far too many products on the desk of the average banker to become a subject matter expert on any of them. With you (you especially) and others that have championed this space you bring a mountain of expertise and most important customer centric knowledge to the industry. I think of it this way, in the present landscape of the Canadian Mortgage Industry if every person or family truly looked at with open mind and understood the benefits of dealing with folks such as yourself the banks would look like day 36 on survivor, “empty”. On a very regular basis I refer people to Mortgage Experts because simply put its better for them and their families. Going forward (knowing now that you specifically work in Ontario) I will refer you in all cases. You may read this and ask “why would he do that”, simple. I work and have worked on all sides of the financial industry in Canada and all to regular we only hear and talk about the bad experiences. With my responsibilities now in recoveries and my other arm which is National Customer Care for the company, most of my days are speaking of bad experiences or issues. That’s the job and as our friends in the mafia say “that’s the profession we chose”. Saying that, when I am wowed by service and believe in someone and what they are doing I will support it. I will never in my current capacity make or break your business but call it good will amongst friends. You will get all my referrals. Gina and many of my colleagues that I trust implicitly talk very highly of you as well so that is all I need to know. Sorry for the long email however when I feel I have something to say to someone of this nature I do it. "Our experience with Angela Calla's team was very amazing. We had been
looking off and on for better mortgage solutions for the better part of 3
years as we were 2 years into our existing mortgage with our bank and felt
that the rate we had wasn't inline with Fair Market Value. Pursuing change
with our bank directly resulted in NO benefit. They advised us to stay where
we were and that it was a good deal. We were always doubtful of this and
thankfully persistent. Since we listen to CKNW in the car quite often we
heard the usual Manny and Angela nighttime show and decided to contact
Angela and see what was possible. At the same time we made contact with two
other mortgage brokers and thought we'd explore who could provide the best
deal. Angela's team won hands down, and I should not have even wasted by
time. Your team was able to provide not only the best rate (which isn't the
always the only important factor) but also the flexible payment options and
several other key points we needed to ensure our mortgage pay-down goal was
even more achievable. Our original objectives were to increase our monthly
cash flow, reduce the interest to principal ratio, maintain our current
mortgage balance through the transition and of course have a mortgage
product which allowed us to really hammer away at the principal.. on our
terms. Angela's team delivered that and more along with their willingness to
